Property developer 25 Degrees sets new record with $17mn villa sale

25 Degrees, a Dubai-based property developer, announced the sale of a renovated Garden Home villa on Palm Jumeirah for $17 million (AED 62 million), setting a new record. This 5,800-square-foot private beach villa, completed in January 2024, was sold in partnership with Sotheby’s International Realty, highlighting the increasing demand for high-end properties in Dubai’s luxury real estate market.

David von Rosen, co-founder of 25 Degrees, remarked, “The Dubai residential real estate market continues to strengthen, and we are capitalizing on this trend. The latest sale underscores that quality construction and craftsmanship distinguish us in the competitive super-prime property market in Dubai.”

Specializing in European-style luxury villas for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), 25 Degrees aims to sell 100 homes in the region by 2030 and is currently developing larger Signature villas on Palm Jumeirah. “For UHNWIs worldwide, Dubai is becoming the preferred location. The city’s lifestyle options make it attractive for international financiers and entrepreneurs to settle with their families, enjoying high-end shopping, a world-leading art market, and a thriving restaurant and bar scene,” von Rosen added.

According to Knight Frank, Dubai’s luxury property market saw significant growth in 2023, with 431 sales exceeding $10 million. Palm Jumeirah alone registered 21 deals over $10 million, totaling $365 million, driven by the influx of wealthy individuals attracted by business opportunities and lifestyle amenities.
