With features such as high-speed Wi-Fi and co-working spaces, these companies foster an environment where productivity thrives while ensuring guests enjoy the comforts of home.
“Looking to 2025, I believe the most successful long-term stay models will focus on flexibility, technology, sustainability, and wellness, while also maintaining the premium service and attention to detail that characterize the UAE’s hospitality industry,” Mahmoud stated.
He also noted that millennials make up the majority of the company’s long-term stay guests, outpacing Gen Z travellers.
“Millennials are attracted to long-term stays because of their flexible work lifestyles, preference for fully serviced accommodations, and the desire for spaces that combine living, work, and leisure seamlessly.”
Mahmoud mentioned an interesting shift in the decision-making patterns among guests, with more female travellers taking the lead in decisions.
“This shift reflects broader societal changes, where women are becoming more prominent in leadership, entrepreneurship, and independent travel,” he said, adding that many female guests prioritize safety, wellness, and a sense of community.
Guests are now seeking customisable packages that cater to their individual needs, rather than being limited to traditional leasing terms.
“We expect these trends to continue, with younger generations like Gen Z gradually entering the long-term stay market as their personal and professional needs align with this lifestyle,” Mahmoud concluded.
