Dubai’s Nakheel taps global architects for exclusive Palm Jebel Ali luxury villas

World-renowned architects collaborate to design 10 exclusive beachfront mansions on Palm Jebel Ali.

Dubai developer Nakheel has teamed up with six international and local architecture firms to create 10 luxury beachfront villas on Palm Jebel Ali, further enhancing the city’s premium real estate portfolio.

The Beach Collection villas, sized between 7,300 and 8,500 square feet, will feature five and six bedrooms and are being designed by renowned firms such as US-based WATG, South Africa’s SAOTA, and regional leaders NAGA Architects and LW Design Group.

“These exceptional villas exemplify luxury, sophisticated design, and a harmonious connection with nature,” said Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate. The project is part of the larger Palm Jebel Ali development, which spans 13.4 kilometres across seven islands.

This development significantly extends Dubai’s coastline, adding over 90 kilometres of beachfront and 16 fronds to its waterfront portfolio. It aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and the emirate’s Economic Agenda D33.

Each architecture firm contributes its unique design philosophy to the project. WATG’s Baia Luna and Crystal Springs villas offer three distinct styles – minimal, elegant, and dynamic – while SAOTA’s Ocean Whisper and Bluejay villas reflect Dubai’s dual connection to the ocean and desert.

Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, is spearheading the project and manages a wide portfolio, including Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Islands, which collectively accommodate nearly 740,000 residents across 15,000 hectares.

Palm Jebel Ali is envisioned as a mixed-use, pedestrian-friendly development incorporating smart city technologies and sustainable practices, marking a new growth corridor in the Jebel Ali area and highlighting Dubai’s westward expansion.

The announcement follows a series of significant real estate developments in Dubai, as the emirate continues to attract luxury property buyers and investors amid growing demand for premium waterfront homes.
