Emaar’s upcoming Dubai Square is set to be among the most cutting-edge developments globally, incorporating AI in the design, construction, and the creation of unique, personalized customer experiences.
Following a workshop to finalize the project as construction commences, Mohamed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar, stated to Arabian Business: “I believe nothing of this magnitude has been attempted before. We have not only integrated some of the most advanced designs imaginable but also introduced unprecedented elements in technology and entertainment. Our in-depth study on shifts in consumer behaviors in retail has informed the implementation of these insights.”
What is Dubai Square by Emaar?
Emaar states that Dubai Square comprises residential, hospitality, and retail components, featuring 10,000 residential units, more than 1,500 hotel rooms, and a retail district spanning 7,500 sq m – roughly equivalent to the size of The Dubai Mall.
Situated in front of the renowned Dubai Creek Tower and the Dubai Creek Plaza, Dubai Square will be linked to these projects via a state-of-the-art underground extension.
The recent development places a strong emphasis on family entertainment, featuring complimentary live performances at the futuristic Grand Plaza. Additionally, there are plans for a dedicated art district, a technologically enhanced Ice Adventure, and a rooftop waterpark.

Emaar aims to complete both the new landmark Creek Tower and the Dubai Square project simultaneously by 2027.
