Companies located in One Za’abeel will now benefit from 100 percent foreign ownership and zero corporate tax.
One Za’abeel, a prominent mixed-use development in Dubai’s Central Business District, has been integrated into the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) Free Zone.
This integration was formalized through Decree No. 18 of 2024, issued by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Companies located in One Za’abeel will now benefit from 100 percent foreign ownership and zero corporate tax. These incentives are designed to attract global businesses and entrepreneurs.
Other benefits include customs duty exemptions, dual-licensing opportunities, streamlined visa and permit procedures, and a variety of flexible office solutions.
“Joining the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority’s Free Zone provides additional advantages to the tenants of One Za’abeel The Offices and its upcoming retail Podium, giving them ongoing opportunities to expand and strengthen their presence in this thriving business community,” said Issam Galadari, Director of One Za’abeel Holdings.
One Za’abeel offers over 26,000 square meters of Grade A offices that meet LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum standards. Its retail section is scheduled to open later this year.
The DWTCA Free Zone serves both large multinationals and SMEs with customized services.

“Dubai World Trade Centre Authority’s Free Zone provides a competitive and robust ecosystem within a regulated environment that attracts global companies, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Extending our jurisdiction to include One Za’abeel as part of the Free Zone strengthens our role as a hub for commerce and enterprise in the heart of Dubai’s Central Business District. This expansion directly benefits businesses and SMEs, which are essential to driving the goals of Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33,” stated Abdalla Al Banna, VP of Free Zone Regulatory Operations of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority.
