More than 80% of newly launched property units in Dubai since 2022 have been sold, underscoring sustained high demand in the emirate.
Dubai has witnessed the launch of numerous projects worth hundreds of millions since 2022. According to Dubai Land Department data, approximately 214 projects have been launched, with 148 currently active.
“Despite concerns over the impact of new launches on prices, the absorption rate remains strong, with our analysis indicating that at least 70% of units launched since 2022 have been sold,” said Taimur Khan, CBRE’s head of research for the Middle East.
“Given reporting delays, we expect this figure to be even higher. Moreover, in Dubai’s established residential areas, the average absorption rate exceeds 80%,” Khan added.
Following the pandemic, many developers have quickly sold their entire inventory, with some achieving complete sell-outs within hours.
Dubai’s residential market continues to see robust demand from end-users and high-net-worth individuals relocating to the emirate to purchase property.
